BYD ETT 44
BYD's 44-tonne electric tractor for Europe, presented in Hanover: a 651 kWh LFP Blade Battery, up to 1,000 PS, 600 km claimed, and five Euro NCAP stars. Deliveries start in the second quarter of 2027, but what it costs to run against a diesel cannot be worked out yet: BYD has not published a price. And the 20-minute charge needs a megawatt charger; on an ordinary 420 kW charger the same 20 to 80 % takes up to an hour.
