Volvo FH Electric 80-tonne rigid

Volvo's electric FH rigid truck for truck-and-trailer combinations of up to 80 tonnes, shown in Hanover: 640 kWh usable, up to 450 km at 64 t and 420 km at 74 or 76 t, 20 to 80 % in about 36 minutes on a 680 kW megawatt charger. It goes on sale in Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark, the Netherlands and Switzerland from early 2027; Belgium and Germany are not on the list. What it costs to run against a diesel cannot be worked out yet: Volvo has published no price and no weights, so no payload either. And on an ordinary 360 kW charger the same charge takes about 70 minutes.
