DAF XD Electric
DAF's electric distribution truck, in series production in Eindhoven since 2025: 170 to 350 kW, 210 to 525 kWh of LFP batteries with an 8-year warranty, more than 550 km claimed with the largest battery. For a cost comparison with a diesel, DAF gives an average use of 0.7 to 1.2 kWh per km across its electric range and DC charging at 150 kW as standard or 325 kW as an option. What is still missing: a price, a lease rate, and a consumption figure for the XD alone at a given weight.
